For more than 30 years, Alimentation Couche-Tard has been Quebec’s number one choice of convenience store. Our company was founded in Quebec and offers a wide range of merchandise, including coffee, snacks, beverages, grocery products, beer and wine, and lottery tickets, as well as fuel and other services that make our customers’ lives easier on a daily basis. Our entrepreneurial spirit pushes us to strive hard each and every day to put ourselves in our customers’ shoes, while at the same time acting as owners. Operating our business this way allows us to stand out from our competitors and create lasting relationships with our customers every chance we get. At the heart of our corporate vision is pride. That’s why we are constantly on the lookout for ways to encourage our communities and markets to flourish. In 1980 Alain Bouchard, a founding member of Alimentation Couche-Tard, opened his first convenience store in Laval, where the company’s headquarters are still located to this day. The company he created now operates 545 stores in Quebec and has seen tremendous growth internationally.
